Christopher and Donna, Thank you so much for all your hard work- our pictures and album are beautiful. I know it wasn't planned, but I even received the album on my birthday, making it extra special. It is so wonderful to have these beautiful memories of our wedding day. The hardest part now is trying to choose which prints we want to frame from all of these great photos. Also, thanks for being so good about keeping us involved. We had time for all the family portraits we wanted and all the other special moments were documented so well. The turnaround time for proofs and reprints was super fast so we've been able to share our pictures with our family. I'm sure you have more than enough great references but we would be willing to provide one anytime (particularly for long distance brides). Christopher, I just returned from a week with my family and they finally got to see our wedding photos. My mom wants to order ALL of the color photos, plus some duplicates and enlargements of specific color and black and white photos. My Nana has also given me a long list of reprints she wants. Needless to say, we have all flipped out over our photos- they are amazing! As Jeremy put it, we actually look like a cute couple in them, which takes quite a bit of talent! I am putting together the official order forms this week and will wait for the color negatives so I can send everything back to you in one shipment. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us. We thoroughly enjoyed having you and Donna at the wedding- the photos really are more than we ever dreamed they would be. The weekend went by so quickly for us so it is really nice to have photos to remind us of the details we missed in all of the excitement! Chris, I'm glad to hear what some of your favorite shots are. We love the picture of us leaving the church, too, as does everyone else. And the ceremony shots are wonderful. The 400mm lens did work out really well and the medium format shots have a very romantic feel. I especially like the pictures at the dam and the ones of my sister running up to tell me something (neither one of us can remember what she was telling me!), and my mother and me laughing, and Sylvia (the 1 year old) walking away from the musicians, and my friends giggling after the bouquet toss, and I could go on and on and on... Chris and Donna! Wow! You really hit the mark! Mike and I were thrilled to receive the pictures last night. Dear Chris and Donna, Sorry it's taken me so long to write this. Right after I got your call my uncle died, which is not at all unexpected (actually, in 1987 the doctors told him he had two months to live, so he did pretty well) but we've been in a flurry of activity, as my parents' house has become the base of operations. Last night was the first chance we had to really look at all the pictures. We all love them, but I think I might love them the most. I think that might be because I have never been photogenic (at all!) but these pictures I can look at and think, that's a good picture of me! It is my first experience with that, and it's a very nice experience to have. Independent of that rather self-centered thought, they are just such beautiful pictures! The color of the dock photos is knock-your-socks-off beautiful and the red of the firelight is stunning. The picture of my niece Courtney is simply "wow." However, I think my favorites are the personality shots--Darren with the tiara on his head, Cindy and Karissa smiling at each other, me and my dad waiting to go into the church--you guys so perfectly captured everybody and everything. I love them so much, I went through each book three times! My friend Karissa, who was the dark-haired bridesmaid (Miss Texas, as you may remember) always hates pictures of herself, and I was telling her she looked gorgeous in your photos, and she wouldn't believe me. I'll definitely have to get a reprint of a photo of her and give it to her for Christmas. There were so many great pictures of our friends, Evan and I were thinking "Christmas" several times as we went through the albums. Okay, I know you're busy people and this is getting long, but I just really want you to know how much I love and appreciate the excellent job you both did at our wedding.
